I went to see recently acquired client this morning, we are about to produce a new ecommerce website for him. We developed his new branding and identity a couple of months ago and produced a new logo; the comment from this morning was as follows.
“Ever since I started using the new logo I have seen sales increase by nearly 40%, people now recognise us for what we do, it has even opened the door to the Catering and Hospitality sector in the area, I have been trying to break into this market for over 12 months. I think the new identity has helped a great deal, we look more professional and the logo says exactly what we do”.
Imagine what’s going to happen when that identity is transferred to his new website, his fleet of delivery vehicles and his signage, and then later on in the year his planned targeted mailings.
Creating the correct branding for a product or service is essential, it should be applied to everywhere your customers and potential customers will see it. You will appear more professional about the way you do business and this can only have a positive affect on your target market. We understand that not all companies can apply any new branding to all their visual aspects all at the same time, there will be cost and time constraints, but it is important it is carried through on everything as quickly as possible, you will become recognised and identified far more easily.
